NOTES: Rosslyn Lodge was a small villa of c. 1800 which was used as a military hospital during the first World War and subsequently a nurses' home. In the late 1970s it was earmarked as headquarters for the Girl Guides (to be renamed the Olave Centre). There was a proposal by John Dangerfield Associates to refurbish the Lodge and extend it with provision for 30 staff, which wasn't carried out until the late 1980s. The large group of buildings behind the lodge is Waterhouse Close sheltered housing, by Camden Architects Department.
