NOTES:
The noted portrait painter George Romney (1734-1804) had alterations made to this his house and studio in the late 1790s by Samuel Bunce. It later became the Hampstead Assembly Rooms and further alterations were made and again in 1930 by Clough Williams-Ellis when it became his home.
