NOTES: The railway bridge, in the foreground, was designed by Sir John Fowler and Sir Benjamin Baker and built in 1883-1890. The road bridge, in the background, was designed by Mott Hay & Anderson and Freeman Fox & Partners in 1958 and completed in 1964. Both bridges cross the Firth of the Forth connecting the city of Edinburgh at Queensferry to Fife.
