Great Mosque, Hua Jue Lane, Xian: a pagoda

NOTES: This, the most renowned mosque in China, was first built in the Tang dynasty during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong (685-762), and renovated in 1368-1398. Since the 14th century, the mosque has undergone many reconstructions and most of the extant buildings date from the 17th and 18th centuries.
