NOTES: Originally built 1642-1674, a number of architects have worked on this building. Simon de la Vallee was responsible for the initial design, but died before work had begun. His son Jean de la Vallee completed it to a revised design in 1656-1674. Carl Fredrik Adelcrantz was responsible for the side elevations and interiors. Detached wings were added in 1870 by Axel Wilhelm Edelsvaard.
