Somerset House, Strand, London: design for the doorcase in the queen's cabinet room

NOTES: The verso bears an inscription by John Webb and, unless this was made at a later date, it provides one of the earliest records of Jones's association with the carver Zachary Tayler and the painter Matthew Goodrich, both of whom are believed to have worked on this door surround.
