NOTES: This church was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London to designs by Christopher Wren in 1671-1678, while the steeple was added in 1701-1703. It was fire-bombed on the night of 29th December 1940 and the nave was completely destoyed. Reconstruction began in 1953 and the church was rededicated in 1957.
