Takbro, Burgess Hill, Sussex: detail of the solar collector

NOTES: This building was one of a small group of solar designs built for commercial rather than research purposes. The solar collector was situated on the south elevation. It had an outer window of clear float glass and an inner face of tinted glass some 900 mm behind it. In the gap were automatically controlled venetian blinds.
