Measured drawing of St Saviour's Church (Southwark Cathedral), Southwark, London: transverse section through the nave

NOTES: Gwilt was responsible for badly needed restoration of the church in the 1820s. The nave roof was replaced in 1838, so the drawing pre-dates that event. The church was not designated a cathedral until 1905 with the creation of the diocese of Southwark.
