NOTES: Built on the site of a disused football ground, the remains of an old slaughter-house and a rubbish tip, this housing scheme for the Wandsworth Borough Council was built to alleviate overcrowding. The accommodation was for larger families, so the majority of the 272 were three to five bedrooms.
