NOTES: The Werkbund Housing Estate (Werkbundsiedlung) in Lainz was an exhibition of modern living by the Deutsche Werkbund in Vienna. The architect Josef Frank was responsible for the master plan of this exhibition for residential construction, which attracted a number of national and international architects, including Richard Neutra and Ernst Plischke. Seventy houses were built and the exhibition drew over 100,000 visitors in 1932.
