Alternative design for Andrea Palladio's Teatro Olimpico: elevation of the proscenium

NOTES: This drawing is numbered XIII/4 in the Burlington-Devonshire Collection. It is an alternative proposal for the elevation of the proscenium arch of the Teatro Olimpico, Palladio's last commission. It was begun in 1580 and was completed after his death by his son Silla and Vincenzo Scamozzi. This drawing is by Giovanni Battista Albanese.
