Notes NOTES: This house, once the home of William Shakespeare's wife, Anne Hathaway, is one of the five Shakespeare houses in and around Stratford-upon-Avon owned by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust that cares for Shakespeare's heritage. The lower part of the house is 15th century while the west part was completed c. 1600.
