Arborfield Hall, Arborfield, Berkshire: the entrance hall

NOTES: This lithograph was prepared for Mansions of England and Wales, Berkshire. This house, replacing an earlier one on the site, was begun in 1837 but was still unfinished when in 1842 Sir John Conroy bought the house and estate. Conroy enlarged the house while finishing its construction. It was demolished in 1955.
