Notes NOTES: This drawing is numbered VIII/18 in the Burlington-Devonshire Collection. It is a plan of the amphitheatre in Verona which was constructed around 30 AD and is the third largest in Italy. The Arena as it is also known is still in use today and can accomodate 22,000 people.
