Notes NOTES: The 47-storey Post Modern Bear Stearns tower was designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and was completed in 2001. The 59-storey MetLife Building, formerly the PanAm Building, was designed by Emery Roth & Sons with the assistance of Walter Gropius and Pietro Belluschi and was completed in 1963.
