NOTES: This L-shaped country house was planned with fourteen bedrooms and six reception rooms. The site was formerly occupied by a Norman Shaw house which was demolished since it was deemed inconveniently planned for modern use and unsuitable for alteration. The cellars were retained and the bricks of the original house were used to construct the garden terraces.
