Notes NOTES: The Jaywick Sands Estate near Clacton-on-Sea, was developed by Frank Christopher Stedman (1874-1963) from 1929-1939, with low cost holiday cottages and bungalows, aimed at famllies from east London. It is also the largest plotland settlement on the Essex coast.
