NOTES: The church of San Gottardo in Corte, formerly the chapel of the Dukes of Milan, was designed by Francesco Pecorari and built in 1220-1336. Multiple architects were responsible for the construction of the cathedral began in 1386 in Late Gothic style and completed in the 1820s when the missing arches and spires were added.
