The architects were Nicholas Lacey Jobst & Partners. 20 Cabot Square is by Kohn Pedersen Fox and 1 Canada Square by Cesar Pelli. Both were completed by 1991.

NOTES: Holl's contribution to the series of cancer care centres known as Maggie's Centres is located in the heart of St Bartholomew's Hospital, the oldest in London, founded in 1123. Unlike most of the Maggie's Centres which are single-storey, horizontal buildings, this one is a three-storey building deep within the hospital complex which comprises many historically significant buildings.
