Le second volume des plus excellents bastiments de France (Paris, 1607), unnumbered plate NOTES: This chateau was built in 1547-1552 for Diane de Poitiers, Duchess of Valentinois and mistress of Henry II of France. The funerary chapel was not consecrated until March 1577.
