NOTES: The castle was built between the 12th and 16th centuries. The north wing seen here, known as ‘aile Longueville’ or Longueville Wing, was built by Francois I of Orleans-Longueville between 1469-1491. During the first quarter of the 16th century, upper floors were added by Francois II d'Orleans-Longueville and his descendants.
