Church of St Michael and St Gudula, Lower Town, Brussels: the nave

NOTES: Construction on this building began in the 12th century and was completed in Brabantine Gothic style in the 15th when the twin towers were built, partly by Jan van Ruysbroeck. This church became a cathedral in 1961 and the name was simplified to the Cathedral of St Michel.
