NOTES:
This CLASP (Consortium of Local Authorities Special Programme) school was exhibited at the Milan Triennale where it won a special grand prize and gained widespread recognition for the building method. Dan Lacey was appointed County Architect for Nottinghamshire in 1958. He had been a group leader of the Hertfordshire County Council post-war school-building programme which had pioneered the use of prefabricated design.
