NOTES: This is a competition design for a building to replace the existing grammar school on the New Street site which was in existence from 1731 to 1834. The design, which won 3rd place in the competition, was exhibited by Goodwin at the Royal Academy of Arts in London in 1834. For the drawing on which this print is based please see RIBA36169.
