Competition design for the Nelson Monument, Trafalgar Square, London

NOTES: Charles Fowler was awarded third prize in the competition to design a memorial to Nelson in Trafalgar Square. This lithograph, showing a slightly altered design from that submitted for the competition, was published in a pamphlet by Fowler, Design for the Nelson monument (London, 1839).
