Notes NOTES: Godwin & Crisp submitted three designs for the Assize Courts competition in 1866, all three of which won prizes. This drawing is from the 2nd prize-winning scheme, motto ‘Aedes Colstoniana’. None of these designs were built as another competition ensued where a further design submitted by Godwin & Crisp won second place.
