Convent of Santa Maria della Carita, Venice: elevation of a doorway

NOTES: This drawing was made either by Visentini or one of his assistants. Work had begun in 1561 to replace the 12th century convent buildings by the church of the Carita to designs by Palladio. Most of his work was destroyed by fire in 1630. The church and remaining conventual buildings now house the Accademia museum.
