Convent of the Rosary and chapel, Atherstone, Warwickshire: perspective

NOTES: The foundation stone was laid for this Dominican convent in October of 1837 and was finished in late 1839. This print therefore dates from that construction period. The Dominican nuns left in 1858, selling the convent to the Benedictines who enlarged the buildings, moving in in 1861 and renaming the convent St Scolastica.
