NOTES: Cragside was the enlargement of a shooting lodge of 1864 into a large country house. The alterations took place in stages over the period 1869-1885. The glass was made by Morris & Co (supplied in 1873) and the series of six panels of the life of St George was originally devised by Dante Gabriel Rossetti in 1862.
