NOTES: Joseph Paxton designed the Crystal Palace for the Great Exhibition of 1851 in Hyde Park, London, while Owen Jones was responsible of the interior decoration and layout. When the building was re-erected at Sydenham in 1854, Owen Jones and Sir Matthew Digby Wyatt were responsible for the suite of Fine Arts Court, representing Persia, Greece, Egypt, and Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Madeira, Italy, and France.
