NOTES: This drawing is by an unidentified 19th century Indian draughtsman. Ghaziuddin built a Madrasa and his tomb in the 1690s near the Ajmeri Gate. Although the Madrasa closed in 1790 it soon reopened as the Oriental College, was reorganised as the Anglo-Arabic College by the East India Company in 1828 and later became known as Delhi College.
