NOTES:
Rosenauer was commissioned to design and build a large hotel and tower blocks on the site of the bombed ruins of Montagu House, a late 18th century house by James 'Athenian' Stuart. The Fine Arts commission rejected the completed design but settled for Rosenauer receiving external advice. Thus Powell & Moya, called in as consultants, made a few minor alterations to the external design, as they considered Rosenauer's design perfectly adequate.
