NOTES: This unexecuted design was produced by Repton for his son, the Reverend Edward Repton, curate at Crayford, whose congregation had requested a design for a replacement of the existing workhouse. The design is shown and discussed in Repton's 'Fragments on the theory and practice of landscape gardening' (1816).
