Designs for alterations and improvements to Orleans House, Twickenham, London, for Alexander Murray: sketch ground floor plan with position of servants' bells marked

NOTES: The house, built for James Johnston, was designed by John James and built in the first half of the 18th century. Later James Gibbs added the Octagonal Room - the only part of the house which remains today. Alexander Murray bought the property in 1827 and after he died it was purchased in 1846 by Lord Kilmorey.
