NOTES: The building, housing the Turk's Head Coffee Shop, was taken over by John Wright, wine and spirit merchant, in 1832. The renovations asked for by Wright to house his wine shop, wine bar and hotel were so extensive that the building only reopened in 1838. When Wright died in 1847 the building was taken over by John Chapman, the bookseller and publisher.
