NOTES: The premises of the famous auctioneers of horses etc and the home of the Jockey Club since the 1780s, Tattersall's (next to St George's Hospital) was extended around 1810 and altered by Papworth in 1828-1829. At the time of these drawings it was also the home of the manager, Richard Tattersall, grandson of the founder.
