Later James Gibbs added the Octagonal Room - the only part of the house which remains today. The vestibule is the wing connecting the Octagon to the house. Alexander Murray bought the property in 1827 and after he died it was purchased in 1846 by Lord Kilmorey. See RIBA84145 for a print showing proposed alterations to the house for Kilmorey.
