NOTES: This image is from the Berners Street Album (or Collins Album) which contains mostly designs for interiors. Thomas Collins was a partner with Sir William Chambers in the development of Berners Street and was his principal plasterer. These sketches are copied from a drawing in a Chamber's album at the Victoria & Albert Museum (Snodin reference number 52; V&A museum no. 5712.54).
