NOTES: The terraced garden was designed by Barry and built between 1844 and 1851. The planting scheme was possibly by William Andrews Nesfield. From the Moulton-Barrett Volume (p. 191), a volume of originals and tracings of office drawings collected by Octavius Barrett during the time he worked in Barry's office.
