NOTES: The Polygon estate (now called the Oakshott Court estate) was built on the site of the Polgyon (a series of outward facing houses), designed by Leroux in 1793, replaced in 1894 by flats, which were demolished in turn for this estate. Detail design worked on by S. A. G. Cook, Borough Architect; working drawings by Roman Haller, associated architect; when Haller's practice folded, James Gowan supervised completion of the project.
