(London: Athlone Press, 1975), p. 730 NOTES: The DogeÔÇÖs Palace has facades dating from 1309-1424 designed by Giovanni and Bartolomeo Buon, although the origins of the palace date back to the 9th century. It has been rebuilt several times and was largely completed by the 16th century.
