NOTES: The Master's Lodge is part of William Wilkins's design for Downing College. His plans were never completed. Works were interrupted in 1827 and only restarted in 1878 when Edward Barry was called in. Building was continued in 1929 by Sir Herbert Baker and in the 1950s by A. T. Scott.
