NOTES: The house was designed by William Atkinson in1827-1828. The cast-iron conservatory on the first floor is probably part of the 1855 improvements by S. W. Daukes and was extended over the central porch in 1892. Damaged during the Blitz of 1940, the house was restored, re-stuccoed and modernized in 1969-1970 for the property group Hammersons by Sir Basil Spence and Anthony Blee.
