NOTES: The centre of Tapiola is a large collection of public and commercial buildings based on the winning entry by Aarne Ervi in 1954 for a new town centre. Espoo Cultural Centre by Arto Spinen was the last part of the area to be completed in 1989. The thirteen storey tower in the distance is by Aarne Ervi, built 1961.
