The Newbold House was begun in 1919 by Mellor, Meigs & Howe and designed in a traditional style. The Robie House is in Oak Park, Chicago by Frank Lloyd Wright 1907-1908. The Jacobs House in Madison, Wisconsin, built for Herbert Jacobs is also by Wright 1936-1937. The Tremaine House, near Santa Barbara, California is by Richard Neutra 1947-1948.
