NOTES: Completed in 1856 as a permanent monument to commemorate the repeal of the Corn Laws ten years earlier, this public building accommodated the third Free Trade Hall from 1856 until 1999 when conversion for its use as a hotel by Stephenson Bell began. It reopened as the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in 2004. The original palazzo frontage and three bays of the adjacent South Street elevation were retained.
