NOTES:
Girton College was begun in 1873 and added to in 1886, 1900 and 1932. The tapestry is a series of crewel work panels designed at the Royal School of Needlework for Lady Julia Carew and stitched by her between 1900-1918. They were installed in the college in 1922.
