Junta de Extremadura regional office building, Merida: the riverside facade with entrance steps passing over the Roman walls to street level

NOTES: This complex is flanked on the riverside by the line of the old Roman bridge and the remains of the Arabian settlement of Alcazaba and was designed to permit the continuation of archaeological digs.
