NOTES: The Church of St Sergios (Sergius) and St Bacchos (Bacchus) was founded by Emperor Justinian in AD 527 and was converted into the mosque Kucuk Aya Sofia Camii in 1503. This drawing was probably produced by a local draughtsman for Charles Felix Marie Texier for use in his publications and later presented to the RIBA.
